Overview

A website needs someone whose job it is. Not to rebuild it, but to make sure the domain doesn’t expire, the contact form still delivers, the backups actually restore, the certificate renews and the updates don’t break anything. Most businesses don’t have that person, so these jobs wait until something goes wrong.

That’s the job we take on. We look after the whole website, whatever it’s built with: the software, the hosting, the accounts around it and the small changes you need along the way. One team to call, one monthly report, and nothing quietly expiring in the background.

On WordPress? What WordPress maintenance covers on top of this

What we look after

Keeping it running

  • Core, plugin, extension, module and dependency updates, tested on a copy before they reach the live site
  • Off-site backups, restored on a test copy now and then so we know they work
  • Uptime monitoring, with alerts that reach a person rather than an unread inbox
  • Security checks, logins with two-factor authentication and access reviewed when people leave
  • SSL certificates and domain names renewed on time, with the renewal dates tracked
  • Hosting kept patched and sized for your traffic, or looked after with your existing host

Keeping it useful

  • Content changes: new pages, updated prices, team changes and photos
  • Contact forms tested, so enquiries keep reaching you
  • Search Console and analytics checked, and anything odd followed up
  • Broken links and missing pages found and fixed
  • DNS and email records kept right, so your emails don’t land in spam
  • Speed checked each month, so the site doesn’t slowly get heavier

Whatever it’s built with

WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and other CMSs. The core, the plugins, extensions or modules, and the theme, updated carefully on a copy first and checked on the live site afterwards. WordPress is the most common setup we look after, and our WordPress maintenance page goes into the detail.

Site builders like Wix, Squarespace and Shopify. The platform keeps its own software up to date, so we look after everything around it: content, forms, apps and integrations, search, domains, email records and monitoring.

Custom-built sites and web apps. Framework and dependency updates, security patches and deployments through Git, so every change is recorded and can be undone. We look after sites built on modern frameworks and hosted on platforms like Vercel, as well as apps running on their own servers.

Running something else? Tell us what it is. If it’s a website, we can look after it.

How it works

  1. 01

    Take stock

    Start

We list everything the website depends on: the domain, hosting, email records, logins, third-party services and renewal dates. Anything held in someone else’s name is moved into yours, so the business owns every account.

  2. 02

    Set up

    Start

Uptime monitoring, off-site backups, alerts and, where the platform allows it, a staging copy for testing changes. We fix anything urgent we found while taking stock before settling into the routine.

    Every month

    Monthly

Updates tested and applied, backups checked, forms tested, Search Console and speed reviewed, and renewals tracked. Small content changes you send us are done as part of the plan.

    Nothing falling behind

    When you need something

    Any time

Send changes and questions whenever they come up. If the site goes down or is hacked, you get a first reply within an hour, 8am to 10pm Ghana time, every day.

    Report

    Monthly

A short report in plain English: what we updated, what we fixed, how the site performed and anything that needs a decision from you.

You always know where things stand

Billed monthly. Small content changes are included; bigger projects are quoted separately.

Questions we get asked

How is this different from your WordPress maintenance?

WordPress maintenance is about the WordPress side of a site: core, themes and plugins, updated carefully. Website maintenance and management covers the whole website on any platform, including the domain, hosting, email records, forms, analytics and content. A WordPress site on this plan gets both.

Will you look after a site you didn’t build?

Yes, plenty of the sites we look after were built by someone else. We start by taking stock of what is there and getting the accounts into your name, then fix anything urgent before the monthly routine begins.

Do we have to move our hosting?

No. We can work with the host you have, or manage the hosting for you if that suits you better. If your hosting is holding the site back, we will tell you and explain the options.

Can you make content changes?

Yes. Small changes, like updating text, prices, photos or team members, are part of the plan. Larger pieces of work, like a new section or a redesign, are quoted separately so the monthly price stays predictable.

What platforms do you look after?

Any website: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and other CMSs, site builders like Wix, Squarespace and Shopify, and custom-built sites and web apps. If your site runs on something else, tell us what it is.

What happens if the site goes down at night?

Uptime monitoring checks the site around the clock, so we hear about downtime quickly. For urgent problems you get a first reply within an hour between 8am and 10pm Ghana time, every day of the week.
