What we collect, and why
Messages you send us
When you use the chat, send a brief from the project estimator, or send us your health check results, we receive your name, your email address, your message and the page you sent it from. We use them to reply to you, and keep them for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, we keep your email address so we can send you the newsletter, first confirming by email that you asked for it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails straight away.
The website health check
The address you check is used to run the check and is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights for the speed test. We don’t store it. If you then send us the results, they arrive with your message.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you across other websites.
Stored in your browser
Your light or dark theme choice, and a chat conversation you haven’t finished, are saved in your own browser so they’re still there when you come back. They aren’t sent to us unless you send the message. Ending the chat clears it.
Keeping the site safe
Our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the website. Our forms briefly hold IP addresses in memory to stop people sending too many messages; they aren’t saved.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the website and provides the analytics.
- Resend delivers our emails and holds the newsletter list.
- Google runs the speed test for addresses checked with the health check.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any message you choose to send us there, under WhatsApp’s own terms.
These providers may process data outside Ghana. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing email@3plelift.com. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If we change what the website collects, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
